Fruit Smoothie

My first recipe is a fruit smoothie with apple, banana, orange juice, strawberries and blueberries!!!  There are a lot of different combinations you can create for fruit smoothies so have fun with it!  This is the recipe for my favorite right now.

The orange juice and juicy apple are sweet and give the smoothie a nice smooth consistency when paired with the banana which gives it a bit of thickness.  For taste the blueberries add a little tartness and then the best is the sweetness from the strawberries which you definitely have to include in my opinion!  Plus the strawberries also gives your smoothie the nice pink color!

The best part is all of the fruit is super healthy for you!  I have found that I have a lot more energy when I have a fruit smoothie in the morning.  It doesn’t keep you as full for as long though so be prepared to have another snack in a few hours.  Enjoy!


  • 1 Banana
  • Handful of Blueberries (approx. 20-25)
  • 3-4 Strawberries
  • 1 Apple
  • Squeezed Orange Juice from 1 Orange

    I suggest you add a scoop of vegan protein powder! So good!
    I’m also a picky eater. I haven’t eaten meat since I was 6. I now choose to be vegetarian. I still need to try beans, peas, broccoli, asparagus, green beans, brussel sprouts, lentils.. the list goes on but i’ll get there. Good luck on your journey!
