So I am constantly hearing about how much everyone loves sushi and wants to go get sushi. So I decided to try just one. This felt like a whole new level of trying foods with trying a piece of raw salmon sashimi. So raw fish. That is definitely weird. Well I can see how it tastes like the salmon I previously tried but is still different. My first thoughts are that the temperature is cold for the fish and the rice. The rice is also a little different this way and is all stuck together. It is a soft texture and mostly it is fishy, kind of salty and it is chewy. I am not sure what the draw is with sushi but I will have to try again and a few other types to find out. Right now I am just unsure of this whole raw fish business.
