This afternoon I tried the Fougasse aux lardons et fromage which is a Focaccia with bacon and cheese bread at our favorite local bakery La Fleur du Pain!!! This is something I couldn’t try before but would only have a corner of the bread and cheese portion when my husband would get it. It is pretty good, the bacon in it is not super crispy as I am used to but it adds a saltiness to the cheese and bread which works well. I think it is probably made with emmental cheese and I like the little crispy cheese parts. Feeling good about trying this without any hesitation, what a difference!!!
